Fishing
has slowed the past few days, we are still picking up
eyes but for some reason there are a lot of smaller
fish(8-12)'', on the other hand mixed in with those
smaller fish are some really nice, fish too big to keep
but picture fish! Part of the reason why the fishing is
on the slower side is that we don't get a chance to have
the water clear up, as soon as it gets close to where we
want it the wind picks up and stirs it back up again.
Gold jigs, rigs, and pulling cranks are all producing
fish. The shallows still have some fish on them, but the
mid lake rock hump such as Center Bar has been the best
bet for keeper size walleyes. Same deal with the gators,
if we ever had 3-4 days of decently calm weather Red
would be going crazy with pike and walleyes. |
